The book was shot in Jaipur, India. Our theme for this collection is “I Want Candy” translating into yummy, sugary, candy colors and embellishments of plastic stones and gems.

We were inspired by this Japanese travel book following one single girl’s experience. You’ll notice we only used one model for this book. Her name is Yulia.

One of the most famous Japanese naturall garden , Shichiku Garden is located in Obihiro, Hokkaido,Japan.This garden is famous for a lot of beautiful flowers and cute old lady, Akiyo Shichiku. As an actress, Gina has appeared in the WWII feature film
ONLY THE BRAVE opposite Jason Scott Lee
(Dragon: Bruce Lee Story) as his wife – 1939 Nisei Beauty
Queen, “Eleanor Takase.” This period piece by director Lane Nishikawa also stars veteran actors, Tamlyn Tomita
(Joy Luck Club) and the late Pat Morita (Karate Kid 2)
in his final film. Gina was also the lead love interest in
DAY OF INDEPENDENCE, a Japanese-American
internment camp film by Academy Award Winner,
Chris Tashima and a lead role in the urban comedy,
THE HOT SPOT directed by Larenz Tate.

On television, she recently guest-starred on the new hit drama series FLASHFORWARD (ABC).
Other credits include SHARK (CBS), QUINTUPLETS (FOX), PORT CHARLES (ABC), CITY GUYS (NBC), LUCKY (FX) to name a few. Gina studied theatre at the NYU Tisch School of Drama and continues at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio in Los Angeles, as she prepares to start principal photography on her next film,
4-BIDDEN (2010) starring Eric Roberts.

As a singer, Gina has performed the National Anthem in enormous venues, most notably for the
NBA and MLB – STAPLES CENTER, MADISON SQUARE GARDEN and DODGER STADIUM.
She trained at THE JUILLIARD SCHOOL in New York and continues her training under vocal coach to the stars –
SETH RIGGS. Gina has previously released a music video/single in Japan, “Unmei No Ai” with a cameo by Hawaiian heartthrob, Jason Scott Lee.

Most recently, Gina lends her voice as a J-Pop singer in the new animated Cartoon Network series, TITAN MAXIMUM (2009),
a spin-off of the hugely popular, Robot Chicken starring
Seth Green and Rachel Leigh Cook. She is also the first
Asian-Amerian singer to perform on the gospel
show, PRAISE THE LORD on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) – the only Christian performance and talk show, consisting of a billion viewers worldwide. Gina will soon be recording her debut album in the genre of Pop/Island/R&B in Hawaii.

Currently, Gina is seen worldwide in the current issue of
THE PENINSULA TOKYO (2009), a 5-star hotel publication. Chosen among an elite echelon of the hottest Japanese talent today, her 12 page editorial and photo spread is among the legendary Tadanori Yokoo, Tatsuya Matsui, Ryuichi Sakamoto,
and martial arts superstar, Kane Kosugi.

Gina was born and raised in Torrance, CA and is the oldest of 3 sisters. She is fluent in English/Japanese, a classically trained pianist, and was the MVP of her high school basketball team as a starting point guard in her freshman year. Gina is a devout Christian and hopes to release a gospel record in the future.

Part 3 of Q&A with director Sion Sono!

Sensational indie filmmaker Sion Sono returns to JAPAN CUTS with this much anticipated, gripping four-hour hentai (pervert) epic brimming with absurd gore, cross-dressers, sin and love triangles while exposing the contradictions within human nature. Yu feels compelled to commit sins for his father, who has become a catholic priest and demands daily confessions from him. As a result, Yu joins a local gang and becomes a master of hentai photography. Amidst the chaos that ensues, he falls in love at first sight with Yoko, whom he later discovers will become his new step sister. With an evil religious cult leader determined to convert his family and steal his precious Yoko away, Yu must go to extreme lengths to save the love of his life.
